Global Genes represented at international conference on cilia in Paris

Professor Søren T. Christensen, Professor Lars Allan Larsen, Associate Professor Lotte B. Pedersen and several students and postdocs working on the Global Genes project will participate in the Cilia2014 conference in Paris, November 18-21, 2014. The conference will focus on recent developments in cilia structure and function including trafficking, cilia and development, cilia in human genetic diseases and cilia in infectious microorganisms. Participants include leading scientists and clinicians from around the world as well as patients and their representatives.

The conference is co-organized by Associate Professor Lotte B. Pedersen, and Professor Søren T. Christensen is an invited speaker, who will give a presentation on how primary cilia are linked to human diseases and disorders. Other Global Genes project members will present their work orally or in poster format (in total eight different abstracts have been submitted by Global Genes project members to the conference).
